Aria

The evidence base that makes every claim defensible.

Aria's job is to find the evidence that every other agent builds from. Before Medi writes a word or Chart designs a visualisation, Aria has already mapped the clinical evidence landscape — primary trials, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, and the competitive context that tells you where your product sits in the field.

PubMed is Aria's primary source. Using the E-utilities API, Aria queries systematically: by indication, by compound, by trial phase, by evidence type. Results are evaluated for quality using a structured hierarchy — randomised controlled trials above meta-analyses above observational studies above case reports. The evidence package delivered to writing agents is ranked by quality tier.

Aria also conducts competitive landscape analysis. Who are the other agents in the space? What does their evidence base look like? What claims are they making? Where are the gaps that your product addresses? This intelligence informs everything from HCP copy to campaign strategy.

The structured evidence package Aria produces is the shared foundation for every other agent on a project. Medi cites from it. Chart visualises it. Reg checks claims against it. Signal uses it for channel strategy. It's not a research summary — it's a structured data asset that drives the entire production pipeline.

What Aria brings to a brief.

PubMed Search

Systematic queries via E-utilities API. Searches by indication, compound, trial phase, and evidence type. No relevant trial is missed.

Competitive Intelligence

Maps the competitive landscape: approved agents, clinical evidence, positioning claims, and market dynamics.

Clinical Trial Mapping

Builds a structured inventory of relevant trials with sample sizes, primary endpoints, p-values, and effect sizes.

Evidence Hierarchy

Ranks evidence by quality tier (RCT > meta-analysis > observational). Writing agents receive a ranked evidence package.

Regulatory Landscape

Maps the regulatory status of the product and competitors. Flags approval dates, label changes, and pending submissions.

Market Analysis

Synthesises commercial intelligence: market size, prescribing trends, payer landscape, access barriers.

Under the hood.

PubMed E-utilities API (esearch, efetch, elink), web search for grey literature and competitive intelligence, clinical trial registries (ClinicalTrials.gov), EMA product information database.
Aria validates that all evidence used in a project is publicly accessible and citable. Unpublished data is flagged and cannot be used in regulated materials without explicit client confirmation.
Structured evidence package (JSON), ranked trial inventory, competitive landscape briefing, PubMed reference set (Vancouver formatted), evidence gap analysis.
